
Myofunctional Therapy and Orofacial Motricity
Myofunctional therapy and orofacial motor skills are disciplines of speech therapy
that assess, prevent and treat imbalances in the muscles
of the face, mouth and tongue, which affect important functions such as
breathing, chewing, swallowing and speech.

How do these therapies work?
Initial assessment
The first step is a comprehensive and personalised assessment, which includes:
- Exploration lips, tongue, cheeks, and jaw.
